Kaiwen

Kaiwen has worn many hats in the environmental field including conducting field ecology, habitat restoration, environmental justice, youth leadership development, and creative group facilitation. As a community engagement professional, Kaiwen is committed to advancing equity and building power in communities of color through institutional change and personal transformation. Kaiwen received WA Wildlife & Recreation Coalition's 2019 Forward Award, served on the City of Seattle's Environmental Justice Committee, and was recognized as one of the National Park Conservation Association's "Top 10 Under 40."
