After attending an outdoor recreation trip organized by her college, she fell in love with the outdoors and teaching new skills to her fellow students. After graduating with a B.Sc. in Industrial Design, she now works in business operations, focusing on modifying human behavior through design. In addition to being a certified rock climbing and ski instructor, she is an avid birder and scientific illustrator.
