Grace Fan 范繼美 (she/her/hers) is a second generation Taiwanese-American who grew up in a small coastal town in Maine (on Abenaki land). While studying Sociology at Williams College, Grace developed a passion for building community and collective power among Asian American folks. Simultaneously, she also developed a deep love for the outdoors and often retreated to the Berkshire Mountains (Mohican land) to recharge. Grace is extremely grateful for the OA Community so that she can combine those two passions into one wonderful space. 

 

Grace currently lives in Philadelphia (on Lenni Lenape land), where she works as a youth organizer at Asian Americans United and does political education/education justice work with Asian American youth. When she’s not meeting with teens, you can find Grace running, rock climbing, hiking/backpacking, practicing her mom’s Taiwanese recipes and trying to find bodies of water to swim in.
