Born in California and raised in Washington, Collin (he, him, his) is a fourth-generation Japanese American and second-generation Teochew Chinese and Vietnamese American. Passionate about getting people outside for the first time, he hopes to break down as many barriers to the outdoors as he can. Collin currently works as an Outdoor Wellness Leader at the University of Washington Bothell and is involved with Washington Trails Association's Outdoor Leadership Training program. You can find him backpacking towards mountain views, learning to climb, and searching for the best bowl of ramen in the Pacific Northwest.
